Join us for our Arbor Day Celebration on Friday, April 24 at Veterans Memorial Park, 355 48th St. SE.We will kick off the celebration at noon with an Arbor Day proclamation, followed by a tree planting and DNR educational materials & giveaways. Complimentary refreshments will be available afterwards.
The City of Kentwood will be distributing free tree native seedlings to community members throughout the week leading up to Arbor Day. Seedlings will be available for pick up at the Kentwood Activities Center, 355 48th St. SE, from Tuesday, April 21 through Friday, April 24 during business hours or until supplies are gone.
When you get your seedling, be sure to take a picture when you plant the tree and post it to social media using #GreeningKentwood.
Plus, during the month of March, Railtown Brewing will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of Bike Ride Blonde to support Kentwood trees. Together we’ll make Kentwood a greener community!
