Kensington Golf & Country Club will host the 15th Annual General (Ret.) Fred Franks Golf & Family Day in support of local Veterans. The event has been chaired by Kensington resident and Home Base Honorary Director General (Ret.) Fred Franks since its inception and was named in his honor. The action-packed day includes a lunch, a shotgun start golf tournament and family activities such as tennis lessons, a pickleball tournament, swimming, bocce ball and kid-friendly games. Veterans enrolled in Home Base Florida programs will be teamed up with foursomes in the golf tournament to give donors the opportunity to learn first-hand how their generosity impacts local Veterans. Immediately following the Golf and Family Day, there will be a reception.
10:30 AM – Registration, lunch provided, Family Day activities
12:00 PM – Opening Ceremony and Posting of Colors
12:30 PM – Golf shotgun start | 18-hole scramble
3:00 PM – Court sports begin
6:00 PM – Reception Honoring SWFL Veterans & Families
The Golf and Family Day is open to Kensington members, their guests AND all members of the SWFL community.
