KENOPSIA: A 4TH YEAR R̵E̵C̵I̵T̵A̵L̵ HYPERPOP HORROR RAVE BY KEREY

This year, I wanted to push the boundaries of what a final recital at WAAPA can feel like. So I decided to throw a rave.
The Derkson Studio on Level 1 of the ECU City Campus is a state of the art audiovisual space, with 270° of projected visuals and a fully immersive surround sound system. 'KENOPSIA' is an event that will invite you to dance and lose yourself in hyper-digital industrial pop and electronic tracks in a completely standing area environment around me as we perform and dance in a reactive visual environment (a row of seating will be provided for accessibility and support needs).
This recital is deeply inspired by the horror genre, specifically internet horror folklore and content, and the music will reflect this in various ways, from using surround sound to my advantage and thematically in my lyrics.
If you or anyone you know might enjoy my spooky, stupidly bass heavy rave, KENOPSIA is a completely free event happening on Wednesday the 25th of November at the Edith Cowan University City Campus in Yagan Square. Feel free to share with your friends, I look forward to sharing some really fun music with you!
