The Kennett Square Juneteenth Jubilee is a free community celebration that honors the history, culture, resilience, and achievements of African Americans while bringing together people of all backgrounds in a spirit of unity and fellowship.
Hosted by the Kennett Square Community Network at Kennett Library, the event features historical presentations, live music and dance, African drumming, spoken word performances, children’s activities, storytelling, local artisans and vendors, community organizations, and delicious cuisine from Black-owned restaurants and food trucks. Designed as an educational and family-friendly experience, the Jubilee celebrates freedom, equality, cultural heritage, and the power of community connection through a vibrant day of learning, entertainment, and inspiration.
