Kenn Kweder is a legendary Philadelphia singer-songwriter and icon since the 1970s, known as “the Bard of South Street.” A fiercely independent artist influenced by Dylan, Bowie, Reed, and more, he fronted Kenn Kweder & The Secret Kidds, nearly signed with Clive Davis, shared stages with the Ramones, Patti Smith, and Cheap Trick, and played over 1,500 shows at Smokey Joe’s alone.
He’s the subject of the documentary Adventures of a Secret Kidd and just dropped his wild “Press Conference” live album. Pure Philly rock ‘n’ roll original.
