Come and explore all the history buried under the lake and the dunes in Kenfig. Cavemen, Romans, Vikings, Normans. They all left their marks if you know where to look. To say nothing of a fabled "lost city beneath the lake". Are the legends true? What about the romantic tale of the Maid of Sker and does her ghost walk the corridors of Sker House?
On this walk we look at the incredible vein of folklore and literature that has its inspiration in the places we visit. We weight up the evidence and separate the fact from the fiction.
This is the last time this year that the award winning Glamorgan History Walks visit the area. This walk is led by author and TV history expert; Graham Loveluck-Edwards.
Adult tickets are £10, children 16 and under go free.
