Please join us for an afternoon of clothes swapping. Excitingly this is a collaboration with Simply Repair South Lakes… Venue: Hallgarth Community Centre
Tickets are £4.
Raffle tickets are available for £1 a ticket.
Can I pay on the door?
Yes.
How does it work?
Collect together any items you have to swap. Please bring your items in a condition you would like to receive them. Also if you have hangers please bring them ready to hang. Come along to the event. There will be rails to hang clothes by size. Browse. Mingle. Enjoy. Pick out any items you like and take them home with you! No money exchanges hands inside the venue.
What clothing are we looking for?
Predominantly we find these events attract ladies clothing but of course we accept men’s and children’s. Don’t forget shoes, belts, accessories, bags and jewellery. There will be a section for Christmas Fancydress and also Partywear.
What will Simply Repair South Lakes be doing?
Our talented repair volunteer Hannah will be doing jewellery repairs of your festive jewellery (no soldering).
And we will have a Christmas Lights mending service - are your lights not switching on?! Bring them along!
Refreshments:
Provided kindly by Simply Repair South Lakes we will have mince pies and festive non-alcoholic drinks as well as the usual cups of tea and coffee.
What happens if we make a profit on ticket sales?
I will donate any profits to Manna House.
What happens if there are clothes left at the end of the evening?
I will donate these to Manna House and Salvation Army. Unless you stay to the end and get your items back.
Can I bring my kids?
Yes of course! All children need to be accompanied by at adult. But children are free.
