Toy & Book Swap (+ Drinks)

Make your Christmas more affordable, clear out the clutter and get sustainable gifts for your little ones - win-win-win!

Swap toys and books you no longer want - and get something new-to-you.

We've moved venue this year to No Hands Rest. Combine free Christmas shopping with an evening out and drinks with your friends.

• Drop off your unwanted toys and books before the event (we’ll share drop-off locations and times nearer the date)
• You’ll get tokens to reflect the approximate value of your items
• On the night, exchange your tokens for new-to-you toys and books
• Have a drink and catch up with your friends
• Go home with your little one’s Christmas gifts sorted!

This year we have decided to charge a small amount for tickets. This will get you your first drink (and means NHR can cover their costs), and anything leftover will be donated to an environmental charity.

• Items must be clean, in good condition, in working order and have all their parts (we’ll turn away anything that doesn’t meet these standards).
• If battery powered - make sure they’re charged/include batteries so people can check they work
• No soft toys - sorry!
• We may need to limit the number of BIG things, due to the venue space.
