Good evening, everyone. This is Kylara, Kelly's daughter. As many of you know, my mother lost her courageous battle with cancer on March 10, 2025. We sincerely appreciate your support as we have all worked to process this significant loss the last couple weeks, and would like to invite all who knew and loved my mother to her celebration of life on April 12th, from 1 to 4 PM. Please feel free to invite people to this event who should be present.
The celebration will take place at the family property located at 1647 N Ott Rd in Hermiston, OR, and it will be open to the public. We encourage you to bring your cherished photos, stories, and a dish to share for a potluck-style meal as we honor the remarkable woman Kelly was. I will also be creating a thread for this event where you can share songs and digital photos to be featured during the celebration. We are blessed to have a talented pianist who will be learning some of her favorite songs with prior notice.
Our family wants you to know how much she loved each and every one of you and how grateful she was for the support and love she received after her diagnosis last July. She was an incredible woman—strong and deeply loved by many. Although the past eight months were a challenging journey, as she shared with me just before she passed, she is finally home.
