**Kelly McFarling & Scott Hirsch live at Eddie's Attic!**
***Kelly McFarling***
Kelly McFarling grew up riding the prolific R&B radio stations and lady folk waves of Atlanta, GA in the early 90s. This incubation translated to a songwriter anchored in melody, metaphor, and potent observation. McFarling began playing original songs in the Bay Area as an adult and quickly became known for her dynamic live show, spending the next decade touring and releasing music independently and earning a devoted following as a versatile indie-folk singer-songwriter known for spacious arrangements and deep grooves. Garnering comparisons to Laura Marling, Bonnie Raitt, and JJ Cale, McFarling's voice anchors her deep catalogue — including Distractible Child (2010), Ridgeline (2013), Water Dog (2017), Deep the Habit (2021), and her latest, Bed of a River (2022), recorded at Spacebomb Studios in Richmond, VA with production by Matthew E. White. She has played in and toured with Y La Bamba, Goodnight Texas, Sonny and the Sunsets, Terry Reid, Con Brio, and more.

***Scott Hirsch***
Scott Hirsch is no stranger to deep music productions. Along his path, he fell in love with life on the road and musical community during the halcyon days of Southern California hardcore punk, helped foster the bloom of a 2000s California cosmic country renaissance with MC Taylor in The Court & Spark, and from there the two founded Hiss Golden Messenger, where they explored the heaviness of rhythm and song together on the East Coast. Returning to California in 2015, Scott's production work grew to include the Grammy-nominated Follow the Music by Alice Gerrard, William Tyler's First Cow soundtrack, and Mia Dyson's Aria-winning Tender Heart. His own music earned the tag "JJ Cale on cough syrup" from Aquarium Drunkard, and his 2020 LP Windless Day was given four stars by Mojo's John Mulvey, who calls it "his most satisfying album yet." His latest, Lost Padres (2025), pushes the envelope of his production and musicality further still.
