Keith held strong views on free speech and was deeply committed to human rights. He advocated strongly for the right to freedom of political association. He held a lifelong commitment to the value of respectful debate and listening to all voices.
Keith’s sister, Maire Leadbeater, spent a lot of time with Keith in his last months until his death in June 2024 and she believes he would be delighted about this debate and this year's topic.
Everyone is welcome, whether you simply wish to remember Keith or you have an interest in the topic, regardless of your views or place on the political spectrum.
