Accomplished percussionist Keith Fairbairn returns to the taproom with some of his favourite musicians to play a potent mix of Latin, Brazilian, and soul jazz, with the emphasis on beautiful melodies and danceable grooves.
Join us for an evening of melodic groove-based music that includes tunes from the likes of Airto Moreira, Donny Hathaway, Grover Washington, Sergio Mendes , Carla Bley, Pat Metheny, Chick Corea, Vince Mendoza, and Eddie Harris.
The band features the soulful tenor sax of Brandon Allen, the virtuosic pianist Liam Dunachie, the fiery energy of Ben Cummings on trumpet, Raph Mizraki on electric bass, and Matt Fishwick on drums, with Keith Fairbairn on percussion.
