“Keep the Faith, Cowgirl — God Isn’t Finished With You Yet: Finding Rest, Renewal, and the God Who Meets You in the Wilderness”
This pre-clinic course invites women in equine ministry to step away from constant pouring-out and enter a sacred space to rest, reset, and reconnect with the God who sees them. Through the tender stories of Hagar and Ruth, we’ll explore what it means to be met by God in our wilderness seasons—seen in our exhaustion, heard in our overwhelm, and gently restored where our souls have run dry.
Together we’ll journey through reflective teaching, guided journaling, and experiential horse time that illustrates God’s heart for renewal. One of our hands-on sessions will use Masterson Method® bodywork, allowing participants to observe and facilitate a horse’s physical and emotional release. As the horse softens, sighs, blinks, licks, and lets go of tension, women will receive a powerful, visual reminder of how God invites them to release what they’ve been holding inside—burdens, expectations, stress, grief, and the weight of ministry.
Ministry Application: Just like Ruth, God honors the women who keep showing up, even when strength is thin and the trail feels uphill. The unseen hours in the barn, the quiet prayers over riders, the emotional load carried for others—none of it is hidden from Him.
Take heart, cowgirl. Your faithfulness is building a harvest you can’t yet see. God is planting seeds in ways you may not fully recognize, but His work in and through you is not wasted.
This pre-clinic offers space to breathe deeply, listen quietly, and experience the rhythm of pressure and release in both the horse and the human heart. Participants will leave refilled with hope, grounded in God’s presence, and carrying this truth with them: Keep the faith, cowgirl—God isn’t finished with you yet.
