Keep Greene Beautiful Seed Swap

Keep Greene Beautiful invites community members to celebrate gardening, sustainability, and neighborly connections at a Community Seed Swap on Friday, July 17, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Greene County Partnership parking lot.
Gardeners of all experience levels are encouraged to bring labeled flower or vegetable seeds to trade with others. Whether you have extra seeds from this year's garden or saved seeds from a favorite variety, the Seed Swap offers an opportunity to share, discover new plants, and grow something different this season.
Participants are also encouraged to bring a lawn chair, relax, visit with fellow gardeners, and exchange gardening tips and ideas while swapping seeds.
The Seed Swap is free and open to the public. Those who have seeds to share are encouraged to package and label them with the plant variety and any helpful growing information.
Keep Greene Beautiful hopes the event will inspire residents to grow flowers that support pollinators, cultivate home vegetable gardens, and continue sharing resources with one another.
