Kidz Danz Kompany (KDK) is pleased to announce a week long summer intensive, KDK Choreo Jam, focused on creating and learning choreography. Registration Link: https://form.jotform.com/260121488092151
When: Monday, June 22- Friday, June 26 (9-3pm)
Saturday, June 27 (4-7:30pm, Performance at 6pm)
Where: Mounarath Powell Dance (8674 La Mesa Blvd. La Mesa, CA 91942)
Who: Intermediate/Advanced dancers ages 14-18 (studio enrollment not required)
What: This high-energy summer intensive is designed to motivate teen dancers ready to grow as both performers and creators. Over five immersive days, dancers will train daily in movement and choreographic techniques, receive coaching in building and structuring choreography, and collaborate to create and set original dances on their peers in a supportive, inspiring environment.
Dancers will work closely with instructors to develop artisty, musicality, performance quality, and creative voice. The week culminates in a ticketed performance on Saturday, June 27 at 6pm, where dancers will showcase the choreography and original works they've developed throughout the intensive.

Perfect for dancers ages 14-18 who are eager to challenge themselves, connect with peers, and experience the excitement of performing an original work on stage.
Please note, that there will be a lunch break and snack breaks during the day. Dancers should bring sufficent food and water each day. A mini fridge and microwave are available to use and snacks and water will be available for purchase.
Cost: $295 (tickets to the performance will be available for purchase separately)
Payments can be made via our Parent Portal in Jackrabbit, Venmo, or Cash/Check directly at the studio. You will recieve further instructions within 48 hours of submitted registrations. Payments are due in full by June 1, 2026.
