Foster Orientation 🐾
Every dog at Karl's Canine Krew sleeps in a real home, not a kennel. That only happens because of people like you.
Ready to make a pawsitive impact? Join us for Foster Orientation and learn how to become the hero every wagging tail is hoping for.
When:
Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 11:30am
Where:
Goat Patch Brewing, Lincoln Center
2727 N Cascade Ave #123
Colorado Springs, CO 80907
This orientation is for you if:
You're thinking about volunteering with KCK
You're curious about fostering and want to know what it really looks like
You'd like to get to know the Krew and the heart behind our mission
It's been a year since your last Foster Orientation and you're due for a refresher
KCK is 100% foster-based. We don't have a shelter or facility, so every rescue we take in depends on someone willing to open their door.
Fostering gives a dog safety, stability, and the time to grow into their best self. On average, our foster pups stay three to five weeks before they head to their forever homes.
What you'll learn:
How fostering with KCK works, from your first pup to adoption day
What we provide: food, supplies, and veterinary care
What fosters help with, like vet visits and adoption events
The PACFA regulations every Colorado foster should know
You don't need any experience to come, and you don't have to commit to anything. Bring your questions, big or small. Jed and Khloe will be there to welcome you, and the Krew can't wait to meet you.
What's the one question you've always wanted to ask about fostering? Drop it in the comments.
Tap "Going" to save your spot, invite a friend who's been talking about fostering, and come see how one open door can rewrite a dog's future. Let's save more lives, together. ❤️
