Room 311. The Summers Street Parking Garage is free after 5 PM. You can park on the third floor and walk across the covered walkway into the third floor near our meeting room.
Our guest speaker is the amazing community activist and KCDW member Renate Poore Renate. She will help us to prepare to celebrate Women's Equality Day – August 26, 2025 – with a historical presentation of the 19th Amendment. The right to vote, the cornerstone of democracy, belongs to all citizens — but this wasn't always the case in the U.S.A. and until recently, most countries denied voting rights to half of their population: women.
