Join us for the first annual Alumni Weekend at the Kansas City Art Institute, happening September 5-7!

In honor of the upcoming event, we're exploring our photo archive. From classrooms in the 1970s to campus life in the 2010s, these photos celebrate the creativity of KCAI alumni through the decades.
We can't wait to welcome graduates from every era back to campus this Fall! Reconnect with fellow alumni, participate in workshops, engage in a panel discussion, and meet Nerman Family President Dr. Peggy Shannon.
The weekend will also feature the opening reception for the biennial Alumni Exhibition at KCAI Gallery!
Alumni are invited to submit work for the 2025 Alumni Exhibition, which will be on view from September 5 to October 19. The opening reception will be held on Saturday, September 6, from 5-8 p.m. Be sure to review the artwork requirements before submitting.
