The Symphony’s Mobile Music Box is headed back to one of our favorite Northland spots – Smith’s Fork Park! Join us on Sunday, May 3, 2026 for an evening of beautiful live music in a scenic outdoor setting.This year’s performance will feature a talented string quartet including Minhye Choi, Kristi Velicer, Jen Houck, and Meredith McCook. The concert will begin at 6:00 PM and conclude around 7:00 PM.
Pack a picnic, bring your lawn chairs or blankets, and relax while enjoying this free outdoor concert in one of Smithville’s most beautiful parks!
Location:
The stage will be set up at Smith’s Fork Park near the campground/spillway. Audience seating will be in the grass area between the campground and spillway. Parking is available at the spillway near the restrooms and playground.
Weather Policy:
All concerts are weather permitting. Musical instruments and cooler temperatures or precipitation don’t mix well, so performances may be canceled if rain or temperatures below 60°F are forecasted. Be sure to check back for updates if the weather looks questionable.
