The Linsmore Tavern (1298 Danforth Ave) loves bringing in incredible Jazz acts to our stage and that is definitely what we are doing on Thursday August 27th! We are so excited to welcome to our stage for the very first time Kaythe ft James Dunbar will be delivering an evening of jazz to our stage! The show starts at 7:30pm, there will be a $10 cover charge at the door.
Kaythe ft. James Dunbar are bringing a night of jazz standards, soul, bossa nova, RnB, and blues to the Linsmore Tavern. James is on the piano while Kaythe takes the mic, and together they pull from the greats – Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Etta James, Aretha Franklin – while also drawing inspiration from more recent voices like Amy Winehouse, Olivia Dean, SZA and RAYE. Expect a relaxed, intimate evening built around songs that never go out of style, reworked in the duo’s own feel, as well as some surprising dance numbers. Whether you’re a jazz head or just want some good music with your dinner, this show will make your Thursday night special! 🙂
