Kayla Painter (Bristol)
Acclaimed experimental sound artist, musician, producer and DJ - Kayla's debut album Fractures, written about NASA’s recent mission to Jupiter’s frozen moon Europa, was one of Bandcamp's Best Electronic Albums of 2024.
A regular presence at festivals including Glastonbury, We Out Here and Bluedot, Painter has also performed at Tate Modern and the Barbican, and has supported artists including Clark, Rival Consoles and Colin Stetson.
Balancing intricate production with emotionally resonant composition, Kayla’s live sets combine immersive visuals, field recordings and tactile electronic experimentation into a deeply transportive experience.
Sin Clair (Glasgow)
Sin Clair is the solo project of Amelia Kidd (The Horrors, The Ninth Wave) showcasing her production and songwriting on a more personal and intimate level. Layering hypnotic lines of textured piano lines, stacked harmonies, field recordings and industrial drum loops, the line between the organic and the mechanical are distorted.
Previously on tour with The Null Club (Gilla Band) and The Wants, Sin Clair’s music remains unreleased and heard only by those who encounter her performances live.
Drum & Lace (London)
Drum & Lace is the solo project of composer and producer Sofia degli Alessandri-Hultquist, blending modular synthesis, field recordings and immersive electronic textures.
Alongside acclaimed scoring work for AppleTV+, Amazon Studios and HBO Docs, Drum & Lace has performed everywhere from Café OTO and EartH to Moogfest and National Sawdust, bringing atmospheric and emotionally resonant live sets to intimate listening spaces and festival stages alike.
Cherry Seraph (Leeds)
Cherry Seraph is the moniker of Bradford-raised, Leeds-based producer Sophie Russell.
Combining dreamy electronics, beats and ethereal vocals with poignant, personal songwriting, Cherry has already been championed by BBC Introducing and is fast becoming one of the region’s most exciting emerging artists.
