🔥 Seminar topic: AIKIDO IS A MATTER OF THE HEART
“Aikido is a matter of the heart. This teaching, expressed in many ways by O-Sensei, the founder of Aikido, reminds us that the Art of Peace must be practiced with joy, vitality, and sincerity. It calls us to meet our partners with love and compassion, to learn from one another without judgment, and to turn our attention inward—refining and polishing our own spirit. As he taught, “True victory is self-victory.”
In this seminar, "Aikido is a Matter of the Heart,” we return to that essential spirit of openness, warmth, and connection. Together, we will explore how to embrace our partners fully, not only through technique but through presence, generosity, and heartfelt intention. This is an invitation to continually open ourselves, to act from the center of the heart, and to extend that openness to everyone we meet on and off the mat.
Now more than ever, there is a quiet urgency in this practice. As human beings, we are challenged to move beyond division and toward understanding, to replace competition with cooperation, and conflict with compassion.” —Kayla Feder

✨ TEA & TALK — something special this year
This year's Tea & Talk session will be a real treat: 📖 Kayla Sensei will speak with us about the book she is currently writing, "Aikido Is a Matter of the Heart", in the form of a special interview. There will be plenty of room for shared exchange, so that everyone can join the conversation, ask questions, and share their own thoughts and experiences.
🍵 Japanese miso soup, coffee, tea and snacks will be served — free of charge. (Few martial arts weekends happen around a soup. We think more of them should.😊)
This Tea & Talk session is included in your seminar fee if you book the full seminar or the whole Saturday, otherwise it can be booked separately.
