let's show 16 year old kayel support on a fun day to remember. awesome food, a great dj playing all your favorites, thousands of dollars in raffles to be won. 50/50, and 2 very exciting door prizes. cannot forget cash bar, games, and a few surprises.
Now you ask the part for what? Not all of you probably know. It's about raising funds, and having a great day for a 16 year old boy in chicopee who is in the battle of his life with cancer. Let's come out and have a good time.

💛Update On Kayel💛
On December 6th we went to the hospital for a 2 day chemo admission. When we got to the clinic and were brought into the room Kayel broke down. He said he didnt want to contunue with treatment anymore. 😭
After we both calmed down, his favorite doctor (Dr. Moss) came in to speak with Kayel and find out where his mind is. He told her that he wants to stop treatment. He was very calm and asked all the right questions.
We were told that if Kayel were to have another side effect from chemo that we'd have to stop this chemo meds because his body can't handle it. The treatment was literally killing him 😭😭. And since he has had a side effect from every single chemo course, Kayel said he didnt want to even try one more time. He said this is the 1st time he has felt himself since starting chemo.
If by some miracle he didn't have a side effect this time and was able to finish these last 4 cycles, it wouldn't be enough. For this chemo to fully work, he was supposed to get the chemo every other week. But since he's had side effects every single time, he was getting it every other month, so it couldn't do it's job fully. So he'd have to do another 9- 12 months of this chemo. Which we know his body can't handle. There is 1 other chemo med he can try. It's the one they use for relapse. But it wont cure him and there is a very small chance it will stop the cancer from growing. Kayel said he didnt want to do that either. He said he just wants to live the rest of his life at home with me. 💔💔😭😭😭
His doctor told me that if I tried to fight his decision in court the Judge would rule in his favor because of how aggressive and how much his cancer has spread all over his body. 💔💔😭😭😭😭😭
In the room with the Dr, Kayel was smiling and laughing and looked more himself. Dr Moss said she has never seen Kayel this happy. When she left the room, I told kayel i was going to get some air. I barely made it to the elevator before I lost it! I was walking down the hall trying to hold my sobs in but I couldn't. I made it outside and fell to the ground crying hysterically!
I cant even describe the pain i felt in that moment, the pain i feel every single day since! 💔💔😭😭😭😭
We have been living every single day to its fullest! Hockey games and movies. I got him an emotial support cat. He named him KAG (pronounced CAGE). It's kayels initials. He said he wanted me to have a piece of him here when he's gone to comfort me. 😭😭😭😭😭😭
We are going to Hawaii for his Make a Wish in Feb/March.
It's been so difficult to smile when my heart is shattering and breaking every single day! Knowing my baby won't be here to grow up and have kids and really live . 💔💔💔💔😭😭😭😭😭😭
I am sorry i haven't told many people. I wanted to try to enjoy this Christmas ..his last Christmas with us and family. 😭😭😭
I was supposed to return to work on January 20th but now that Kayel has made this decision, there is no way I can go back right now. I dont ever want to leave his side! I dont know how long i will have with him! 💔😭😭😭 But how am I going to pay my bills and all the supplies I need to care for him and take him to do all the things he wants to do before he no longer can? AHHHHHHH I HATE THIS!!! I HATE CANCER!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE pray for my brave and strong baby boy! Pray that he gets to live and enjoy life as much as he can for as long as he can before the cancer fully takes over. 🙏 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
We have a check in on Monday to figure out the next steps. And on the 1st he has surgery to change out his pubic catheter.
I will try to update everyone after we get more information.
