Kayaking/Canoeing the Colorado River from the Hoover Dam to Willow Beach Marina

**We'll meet at Boulder Beach Campground the night before around 6pm for a cookout. This insures everyone is in the area and will be able to make the 6am meeting time with the outfitter.**This is a three day and two night kayaking (or canoeing) trip down the Colorado River from the base of the Hoover Dam to Willow Beach marina. We'll be visiting FIVE hot springs, hiking to at least a couple of cool caves, and passing by Emerald Cove. We'll camp out on the side of the river both nights. This is a guided trip with a very reputable outfitter. Our guide has 15 years of experience of guiding this exact trip.
The outfitter provides lunch and dinner day 1. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner day 2. Day 3 is breakfast and lunch. They also provide the watercraft of our choice (**You MAY be able to bring your own depending on the make, model, and length for a discount on the price below) PFDs, paddles, and helmets. There's a list of the items you should bring along if you decide to join us on the link I'm dropping at the bottom.
We'll meet up the evening before on Apr 11th for introductions, a cookout, and make sure everyone has all the supplies we'll need. We'll head over to the meeting spot the next morning at 6am (last time it was at a casino in Boulder City) then we'll load into the outfitter's vans and they'll take us to the base of the dam. We'll help carry out stuff down to the river (about 100 yards) and we'll get a few minutes for pictures before we launch. I've asked our guide to make sure we get to see all FIVE hot springs and at least the two coolest caves. They said that wouldn't be a problem as long as the weather cooperates.
If we get 11 people (8 more than are in my party now) then we get a 10% discount. The price per person, without the *bring your own watercraft discount, is $870. This includes taxes, fees, and the launch permit. The deposit to hold your spot and purchase the permit for the launch date of April 12th is $175. You'll pay directly to the outfitter by calling the number on their website and reference **Anthony Maiden trip of April 12th.**
