Kayaking Beyond FUNdamentals

Kayaking Beyond FUNdamentals moves you from kayaking foundations to more advanced (and FUN) strokes and techniques. Participants should have prior knowledge and understanding of paddling strokes and technique - preferably you've previously completed Kayaking FUNdamentals. In this course, you learn expanded paddle strokes including bracing and additional draw strokes. You will also learn to safely exit your kayak upon capsize with or without a skirt, discuss and apply group and personal safety responsibilities, safety gear, planning for emergency situations while on the water and more.
