Kayaking 101

This beginner’s class is designed for someone wanting to try out kayaking for the first time. It will cover basic kayaking safety, etiquette, and boat and paddle basics. Boats and safety equipment provided. Please wear appropriate clothing for water activities and plan to leave your valuables in your vehicle. Use of provided life jackets is required.

Suitable for ages 12 and up, children under 14 must be accompanied by a paid adult.

Parking for the duration of the program only is included in the ticket price. Anything outside of the scheduled time will be your responsibility to pay for the parking fees.

Participants will meet at the dock. Please arrive on time as program content starts promptly. As a courtesy to wildlife and other participants, please leave your pets at home. Content such as changes/maps will be sent via email leading up to the program. Pre-registration is required.
