Take your whitewater or sea kayaking skills to the next level - Learn to Roll!Join us for our 5 session rolling clinic! The clinic kicks off in-store where we outfit boats, review expectations, learn about gear, safety, pool rules, and watch an instructional video on rolling.
The next 4 sessions will be in a local indoor heated pool. Where we will be covering wet exits, rolling with proper form, safety skills & techniques, as well as work on bracing skills, all set to your own pace as we teach this class as a progression.
New this year we are offing a roll tune up course. If you have taken this class before and you got your roll, but want to work on your offside, strengthen your bracing skills, or just need a tune-up, this is your opportunity.
The class will only show up on the the calendar as the Monday of the start of each session, the next four pool days will not be listed on the calendar (but will be held on the following Tuesdays & Thursdays for two weeks). We also offer an optional third week, in case you need a couple more days of instruction or just want more guided pool time to strengthen your roll. This optional week must be registered for separately from the 5-class roll session.
The store class date is March 30th
The pool class dates (Tuesday & Thursdays) are as follows: March 31st, April 2nd, 7th, and 9th.
The dates of the extra week is Tuesday and Thursday, April 14th & 16th.
