Every year, Atlee Church is happy to host a free monthly kayak trip! Everyone is welcome on these guided adventures from April through October. Trips are guided by experienced outdoorsman and Atlee community leader, Mark Alling. NOTE:
These trips are limited to 10 kayakers. So sign up as soon as you can! Equipment can be provided to you! Kayaks, paddles and life jackets are available. Please designate what equipment you will not be providing for yourself when registering.
DETAILS:
We will meet at the Mechanicsville campus at 8:30 am each Saturday listed below. We will then drive to the launch site, kayak from around 10 am until 1 or 2 pm and have a lunch on the river. During lunch, Mark will share a short and insightful devotional about being good stewards of God's rivers and His creation. We will be off the water around 2 pm and everyone should be home by 4 pm.
People with their own boats and gear are encouraged to bring them. Everyone is required to wear a life jacket on the water. People should bring their own lunch or snacks, drinks, sun screen and bug spray.
