Come float your troubles away with us 🛶 We will be recovering from our summer bash the night before- find the event "Annual Summer Party at The Sues" on Facebook. This is down the street from The Sue's, so sleepovers are encouraged after the party on Saturday night.
We will all meet up around 10:30am at the boat launch, which is PAST the entrance to the park. Drive past the main entrance for about one minute, and the boat launch parking lot will be on the left, across from the Firefighter Academy.
We have two extra kayaks for use that day, but please plan ahead! There are kayaks and canoes available for rent on the beach, at the main entrance. The pond is not that big, so if you rent a kayak by the beach you shouldn't have trouble joining us across the pond.
There are picnic tables where you can pull your kayaks right up to, so those of us not wanting to go out on the water can hang and grill on land all day!
Bring drinks and snacks to have in your kayak, and sunscreen!!!
