Kawartha String Orchestra Presents: Annual Free Spring Concert Fundraiser

The Kawartha String Orchestra (KSO) is pleased to present theirannual spring concert on Sunday April 27 starting at 2pm at St. James United Church (221 Romaine Street,Peterborough, ON).

The theme of the concert is "Stage and Symphony". Award-winning conductor and music director Tak Kwan and the KSO will play selections from Mozart, pieces from popular musicals such as Les Miserables and The Sound of Music, as well as two new compositions by local composer and KSO bassist Marcus Quin. Guest soloists include Tak Kwan (violin) and Marcus Quin (clarinet).

Admission is free; monetary donations to Upbeat! Downtown are gratefully accepted. UPBEAT! Downtown is an after school music program for children living in Peterborough who are interested in music and face barriers accessing music education.
