Join us for the second Katxupa Fest, a celebration of Cape Verde’s beloved national dish and the traditions that bring our community together. Hosted by the Cape Verdean American Community Development (CACD), this one-day festival blends food, music, storytelling, and culture into an unforgettable community gathering.

🍲 Katxupa Cook-Off & Free Tasting – Sample different versions of Katxupa (rica, vegetarian, family recipes) and vote for your favorite!

🎶 Music – Enjoy traditional Cape Verdean music, drumming, and dance.

🧒 Kids Zone – Crafts, face painting, and family-friendly fun.

🛍️ Vendor & Resource Market – Shop Cape Verdean food, crafts, and merchandise, and connect with local community resources.

💚 Health & Healing Table – Access wellness information, screenings, and resources from community partners.
