Sydney-based guitarist/singer Katie Rosewood presents her album 'Symptoms', her most personal work to date. Melding classical guitar with heavy rock undertones, twelve tracks take an introspective look at the human condition. Off the back of hard-hitting singles ‘Machine Thinking ‘& ‘The Scary Thing’, 'Symptoms' dives further into daring self-reflection. ‘The Preacher’ looks at the dark path of obsession, while the intense push-pull of ‘Bird Bones’ captures the anxiety of being stuck on the edge of a breakdown.
Symptoms follows Katie’s EP Seeds, with tracks played on 2SER & 4ZZZ.

R.E.D. EXPERIMENT are a nu jazz, R&B & neo-soul trio from Sydney. The band's ethos revolves around exploration & innovation. Their sound isn't bound by convention; instead, they push the boundaries of modern music with complex harmony, odd time & improvisation. Their performances take listeners on a journey through evolving soundscapes, creating an immersive experience filled with rich layers of sound.
R.E.D. Experiment collaborate with a variety of feature artists from Sydney’s jazz scene, often leading to spontaneous jam sessions as musicians join them on stage. This year, they released a series of modern jazz rearrangements & original tracks recorded live at Audio Heights Studios in the Blue Mountains, featuring Italian singer ROSELLA FANELLI, with more exciting projects on the horizon.
