About this Event

On August 30th, Kathmandu will make history with its World’s Biggest Hike at North Vancouver’s Cypress Mountain — a bold attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the most people hiking simultaneously. The current record stands at 815, and Kathmandu is bringing together over 1,500 participants of all ages and abilities on an inclusive, accessible trail to beat it. This isn’t just a hike — it’s a powerful statement about community, sustainability, and the mental and physical wellness benefits of the great outdoors. As a Certified B Corp, Kathmandu Canada is proud to partner with BC Parks Foundation, North Shore Rescue and Take a Hike Foundation to ensure the low-impact event gives back in meaningful ways.

After the hike, walk down or download via chairlift to enjoy fun, food, and festivities at our Vendor Village at the base.
