Kate Rowe Speaker Event

Kate Rowe came out at 26 and was part of the first Mardi Gras in 1978. Now 75, Kate is still an activist though in more genteel ways! Kate has seen many changes in our community over the last 48 years and seen it grow to become so much more inclusive of those under the radar especially latterly the Trans community and Trans youth.
Kate was involved in the queer sporting community believing that there are more ways to be engaged socially than the bar scene. She is keen to hear how life is now for younger people as well as to share her life experience. Kate has a good sense of humour and an open mind.
Come along to this FREE event, meet Kate and hear her story!
