bassist Dan Asher, and the highly talented percussionist/drummer Chris Johnson, with
Chicago-Native/ BoCo transplant Kate on lead vocals and keys.
Like a fine bottle of wine that’s been sitting on the shelf waiting for a special moment, the
Kate Hope Band has dusted themselves oL and is ready to be uncorked!
Vibe along to the band’s expressively charged, tastefully eclectic sound. About a third of
their set list is original music pulled from the soundtrack to Kate’s upcoming book,
preparing for release sometime next year. The arc of this concert begins simply with some
of the band’s more intimate tunes and gradually builds to their high-energy dance-floor
naughtiness.
Kate’s sincere, versatile, genre-spanning vocal performance, supported by the band’s
stellar chops, is oLered with a love both for the craft and the magic of music’s power to
connect us. Reuniting with her trusted brothers in music, Kate is beside herself to bring
their original and artfully crafted not-your-run-of-the-mill cover songs to Colorado for what
they hope to be the first of many shows back together.
