Spend an evening with bestselling author and Duke professor Kate Bowler, whose work insists that joy is still possible even when life refuses to cooperate. Kate invites us into a conversation about joy that doesn’t require pretending everything is fine. • Each ticket includes entry to the event for one person plus ONE copy of Joyful Anyway.
• You will pick up your book at the event.
• There will be no meet and greet, all books will be pre-signed.
• If you are not feeling well and cannot attend, we will get your book signed for you.

Kate Bowler is the three-time New York Times bestselling author of Everything Happens for a Reason, No Cure for Being Human, Good Enough, The Lives We Actually Have, Blessed, and The Preacher's Wife, and hosts the popular podcast Everything Happens. A Duke University professor, she earned a master's of religion from Yale Divinity School and a PhD at Duke University.
