Kelley Mickwee's music has a decidedly Americana flavor thanks to the combination of honky-tonk twang, folk elements, and a dash of rock 'n' roll. Her compositions deal with issues of love, loss, and self-discovery, and the lyrics vividly depict the highs and lows of life. Her voice is one of the most recognizable talents making music in her home state of Texas.
THE WHISKEY SWEETS are an Americana / Folk / Country band created in August 2022. After playing a few open mics at The Lariat in Buena Vista to a growing fanbase, they started performing all over Chaffee County, drawing in audiences with a mix of originals and covers.
