Alexandra Learners Selected for Aviation and Drone Technology Study Tour – Sponsors Needed to Help Make It Happen
Alexandra Township, Johannesburg – Twenty-five years into the digital age, many young people in township communities still have little exposure to careers in aviation, aerospace, engineering, and drone technology.
To help bridge this gap, T6 N Beyond NPO, through its Kasi Drone Club initiative, has identified 50 learners from Alexandra High School to participate in an Aviation and Drone Technology Study Tour aimed at introducing them to future-focused careers in STEM, aviation, and emerging technologies.
The programme forms part of a broader initiative that seeks to expose 200 learners over the next seven months** to educational opportunities within the aviation and technology sectors through a series of four study tours.
The first group of learners will depart on 24 July 2026, where they will engage with aviation professionals, learn about career opportunities in the industry, and gain first-hand exposure to aviation and drone technology environments.
While the learners have already been identified and the programme is ready to proceed, sponsorship support is still required to ensure the success of the tour.
We are appealing to businesses, community partners, and corporate social investment programmes to assist with:
✅ Learner meals and refreshments
✅ Transportation costs
✅ Educational materials
✅ Study tour operational expenses
✅ STEM and career development resources
As a registered Public Benefit Organisation with Section 18A approval, 7T6 N Beyond NPC is able to provide qualifying sponsors with a Section 18A Tax Deductible Certificate.
Sponsors will also receive recognition through our media and community platforms, including:
