Kashmir – Personal Glimpses
A photography exhibition by Robin Andrew and Ken Hoffman
Kashmir is often spoken of for its breathtaking beauty—mountains, gardens, and a history at the crossroads of cultures. But what has stayed with us most deeply are the people: their warmth, strength, and resilience.
Through our photographs, we hope to share some of these personal encounters—moments of humanity, dignity, and everyday life set amongst a land both magical and challenged.
When: Sunday, October 26, 3:00 – 5:00 p.m.(Photographers’ talk at 4:30 p.m.)
Where: Shafali Restaurant, 308 Dalhousie St., Ottawa
Cost: $50 per person (complementary drink and appetizers)
This event is a fundraiser for Child Haven International, a local charity that provides homes for women and children in India, Nepal, Tibet, and Bangladesh—offering food, education, health care, shelter, clothing, and caring support.
We would be delighted if you could join us.
