Ride Overview:
MTB Islamabad invites all adventure cyclists to an epic ride on the Hassimar Track, a high-altitude MTB route in the stunning landscapes of Azad Kashmir. This ride will take us from the famous Pir Chinasi (2,800m) to Pir Hassimar (3,200m), offering breathtaking views, challenging trails, and an unforgettable experience.
For those who prefer a more relaxed adventure, there will also be an option to explore the scenic beauty of Pir Chinasi while the Hassimar riders complete their trail. After regrouping, the whole team will descend on-road to Muzaffarabad, making it an exhilarating end to our journey before heading back to Islamabad.

Departure Time: As soon as possible after gathering
Return Time: Around 8:00 - 9:00 PM
Cost: PKR 7000/-
- Cost covers (Transport (for riders and bikes), Road Tolls, light snacks (tea break))
- Cost does not cover any MEAL that we will have.

ITINERARY:
------------
- 5:00 AM – Meetup at Khyber Gate, F-9 Park
Final gear check and loading of bikes onto transport vehicles.
Departure as soon as possible to Pir Chinasi.
- 9:30 AM – Arrival at Pir Chinasi
Unloading of bikes, group briefing, and final preparations.
Division into two groups:
--- Hassimar Riders: Depart towards Pir Hassimar (3,200m) via a challenging MTB trail (~16 km one way).
--- Pir Chinasi Explorers: Ride around the scenic routes of Pir Chinasi and enjoy the stunning views.
- 1:30 - 2:00 PM – Regroup at Pir Chinasi
Riders from Hassimar return to Pir Chinasi.
Lunch/snack break and photo session.
- 2:30 PM – Start Descent to Muzaffarabad
An epic downhill ride covering 30+ km of winding mountain roads.
- 4:00 PM – Arrival in Muzaffarabad
Rest, refreshments, and loading of bikes onto transport.
- 4:30 PM – Departure for Islamabad
Enjoy the scenic drive back.
- 8:00 - 9:00 PM – Arrival in Islamabad
Ride ends at F-9 Park (Khyber Gate).
RIDE REQUIREMENTS:

Bike Type: Mountain bike (Hardtail or Full Suspension) with proper gearing.
Mandatory Gear: Helmet, gloves, padded shorts, and knee/elbow protection (recommended).
Personal Essentials: Hydration pack, energy snacks, rain jacket (if needed), and extra tube/puncture kit.
Fitness Level: Riders attempting Pir Hassimar Track should have moderate to advanced endurance and technical skills.
Backup Transport: Support vehicle will be available at Pir Chinasi for emergencies.

This is a self-supported ride, so carry enough water and snacks.
Weather can change quickly at high altitudes; dress in layers.
Ride responsibly and respect local communities and the environment.
Participants are responsible for their own safety and well-being.

“Arriving late was a way of saying that your own time was more valuable than the time of the person who waited for you”
• Ensure that your bicycles are in good condition and that your tires have air before you come to the ride in the morning. Early morning repairs delay the start of the ride.
• Stay to the left side of the road when riding on road
• Respect the countryside and leave it tidy
