Open track day for racing karts at Grattan Raceway. The cost to participate in each day is $280.00 per driver. To reserve spot, send $280.00 via check or Venmo. If Venmo, send to @Dan-Monahan-13. If check, send check to Track Star LLC, 1077 N. Old Woodward Ave., Birmingham MI 48009. Please email payment notification to [email protected] upon payment.
It is required that participating drivers have experience driving racing karts. New drivers are welcome, but will be permitted on track in separate rookie sessions only.
Grattan allows us to cancel the date (due to weather or under participation) as late as the Thursday before the event. In case of cancellation, everyone who sent in their entry fee will be refunded their monies, less $10.00 for admin headaches.
Each test day includes track time from 9am to 5pm, corner workers, waiver paperwork, tow truck, and ambulance services.
Generally speaking, we run an open session format. If the track is green, any class of kart can go out. Although as mentioned above, new drivers will be in separate sessions.
There are a limited amount of garages available. They are $50 each per day. The garages can accommodate more than one kart, but each garage only has one vehicle parking spot nearby. First come, first served.
Spectating is not permitted inside the paddock.
Pets on leashes at all times.
Camping is available on the track grounds the night before each event. There is no charge for camping. If you are going to camp you must arrive at the track between the hours of 5pm and 10pm.
If there is sufficient interest/participation in this event, there is also the opportunity to hold another test day July 13, 2026.
