Get ready to hit the track like never before! At Kart Clash, young gamers of all skill levels will team up with college gamers from the Esports Club at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology. Meet them, race alongside them and hear what gaming looks like at the college level.
Parents and guardians, this night is for you too! Ever wonder where your kid’s love of gaming could lead? While the kids race, join us for a session just for parents. You’ll hear from the team at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology about their programs, what their esports club does and how gaming can connect to real college and career paths in tech. You may even hear from some of their students about their own journeys. Bring your questions! You’ll leave with a better picture of the gaming world your kids love and the opportunities it can open up.
And the main event? A team-based Mario Kart tournament! Each young racer is paired with a Thaddeus Stevens student to form a brand-new team. Pick a team name, then race your way through four cups. Points add up after every cup, the leaderboard stays live all night and the top teams take home prizes. It’s all about teamwork, a little strategy, a few blue shells and a whole lot of fun.
Bring the whole family for a night of community, connection and racing!
