KARMA YOGA 2026Bihar Yoga is the most ancient Tantra school and tradition in the world dating the XVI century. Bihar Yoga is now led by Guruji Niranjanananda Saraswati - the only Guru in the world with kundalini power to research human mind and service the world through Tantra practices and philosophy.
Bihar School of Yoga, located on 1200 hectar of land at Ganga Darshan Vishwa Yogapeeth, Munger, is the karma bhumi of Sri Satyananda Saraswati, chosen and declared by him to be the epicenter of the yogic renaissance in the 21st century. It was in Munger that Sri Swami Satyananda had the revelation that he would fulfil the mandate of his guru Sri Swami Sivananda Saraswati, by creating a fellowship of yoga, and devote himself to the elevation of human consciousness by disseminating the light of yoga.
Maintaining the ancient traditions and practices, the teachings of Bihar School of Yoga provide practical techniques and methods to bring simplicity, harmony and balance into life in the modern world. Yoga and Tantra at Bihar School of Yoga is not just a practice, but a lifestyle which offers an experience of complete integration of the human personality and nature.
In 2013, Bihar School of Yoga celebrated its Golden Jubilee with the World Yoga Convention, attended by delegates from over 56 countries and 23 states of India. Throughout the Convention over 20,000 people gathered daily to experience the teachings at both the classical and practical level. In 2023, the Munger Yoga Symposium was conducted and for the benefit of thousands of yoga aspirants, the second chapter and dimension of yoga, the connection and experience of the yoga vidya was revealed. In this symposium the practices and philosophy of Tantra was also revealed.
The current work of Bihar School of Yoga is dedicated to exploring and preserving the Tantra vidya, delving deeper into the scriptural texts and classical teachings to reveal the ancient wisdom for human development and evolution.
