We are holding a fundraiser at the River Valley Christian Church Lake Elmo. The fundraiser is to help support the Kargel family while Jeff recovers from a life threatening accident he had on September 30th. He has a very long recovery ahead. Jeff's left elbow had two torn ligaments and was dislocated. His right wrist was crushed and they had to remove 4 bones to set and save it. He had 3 broken ribs, cuts, deep lacerations they are still healing. His left femur was completely snapped from his knee. The bone exited the leg. There is none missing, all the fat on the inside of the leg and a lot of skin. The skin graft was successful. The next surgery is Christmas Eve. He will then continue to heal for many more months. He is completely dependent on all of us. We are happy he is with us.
