Aim:
• To celebrate Karen New Year in unison with all Karens around the world
Objectives:
• To express unity among Karen people working together regardless of dialects and religious beliefs.
• To maintain, sustain, and develop Karen culture and traditions.
• To raise awareness and to highlight the ongoing humanitarian crisis faced by Karen people both within Burma and along the Thai-Burma border.
• To extend help and assistance to Karen refugees and IDPs (internally displaced people).
We look forward to your participation in our celebration and wish you and your family a happy, peaceful, and prosperous New Year.
