General admission seating is first-come, first-served. $5.00 to enter Karaoke Competition. Please sign up to sing day-of. This is a Sunset Lounge event with bar service throughout the evening.
ABOUT YOUR HOST
Kat Agudo is thrilled to be your Karaoke Host and Emcee for Field Hall’s Annual Karaoke Contest! A lifelong lover of music, storytelling, and bringing people together, Kat spent seven years performing as an event singer in Austin, Texas before making the move to the Pacific Northwest. They now work at Key City Public Theatre in Port Townsend, where they pursue their own creative work as a playwright and performer. You may have seen Kat on local stages in Shakespeare at Sunset/Brunch at Field Hall last August or as part of BARK! THE MUSICAL at Key City Public Theatre this past spring. They’ll also be returning to Field Hall for Broadway at Sunset.
Kat holds a BA in English and Anthropology from The University of Texas at Austin and an MFA in Playwriting from The Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University in New York City. Their proudest gig has been performing TROILUS AND CRESSIDA at the American Shakespeare Center and belting out Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons' "Oh What a Night!" as Intermission entertainment dressed up as Helen of Troy.
Whether onstage, behind the scenes, or behind a microphone, Kat loves creating spaces where people can connect, celebrate, and have fun. Tonight, they can’t wait to cheer you on and sing along!
