About this Event
Kanto Corner is a community-led mini-festival celebrating Historic Filipinotown and the HiFi neighborhood. There will be live musical performances, local vendors, food, drinks, and family-friendly activities. @kmb_la and @thesundayjump ‘s goal is to bring folks together for a fun and safe gathering that uplifts the neighborhood, gives a sense of pride, and offers the opportunity to get involved locally.

- Kabataang maka-Bayan (KmB), or Pro-People Youth, @kmb_la, is a progressive organization which raises the social consciousness of youth, encouraging them to organize and mobilize in response to the issues affecting our local communities, the oppressed people of the Philippines, and other pro-people issues around the world.
- Sunday Jump, @thesundayjump, is a community arts organization based in the Historic Filipinotown neighborhood of Los Angeles. Founded in 2012, Sunday Jump’s mission is to facilitate a safe space for marginalized voices to share stories and create genuine connections through the arts. To ensure a welcoming space for everyone, Sunday Jump has two community guidelines: (1) express, not impress and (2) free speech, not hate speech. This organization’s founders and leaders are award-winning poets and community activists who have shared their work across the nation. - Los Angeles Neighborhood Land Trust was founded in 2002 to address Los Angeles's park inequities.
