Hello all. This is a vintage Jeep Ride I’m putting together. That will make a 550-mile loop on gravel roads through the Kansas Flinthills. Route will be posted and pinned in the comments. We’ll meet up at 8am Friday June 5th in front of the historic Granada Theater in Emporia KS, and plan to leave town about 9. We’ll cover about 160 miles each day, and camp each night (unless you want to get a hotel - I get it). We should be back in town mid-late afternoon on Sunday June 7th. There is no fee for this, but you are responsible for your own food, water, camping gear etc. I’m looking to keep this limited to vintage Jeeps and 4x4s, but I’m not looking to exclude anyone the first year, unless we get inundated with numbers.
Your vehicle does need to be registered and insured, as these are all public roads. I’ll put a recommended gear list in the comments, as well as tow vehicle and trailer parking information as that comes together. Hope some of you can make it!
