This fully supported journey has been designed for travellers who love nature, wildlife and walking, but prefer shorter daily distances and plenty of time to stop, explore and absorb the beauty of their surroundings.
This super small-group adventure is limited to five participants, allowing for comfortable 4WD transport, all-inclusive meals, and individual rooms. Across five days you’ll discover some of Kangaroo Island’s most iconic landscapes, from the sculptured granite formations of Remarkable Rocks and the rugged cliffs of Cape Borda, to the pristine beaches of Vivonne Bay and the remarkable wildlife encounters at Seal Bay.
Our walks take us through a diverse range of environments, including coastal heathland, eucalypt forest, sheltered lagoons, river valleys and dramatic clifftop scenery. Along the way, we’ll search for koalas, kangaroos, echidnas, seabirds and the endangered Glossy Black Cockatoo, while learning about the island’s unique ecology, conservation efforts and remarkable recovery following the 2019-20 bushfires.
This itinerary also includes visits to some of Kangaroo Island’s most loved local attractions, including Kelly Hill Caves, Cape Borda Lighthouse, Admirals Arch and Flinders Chase National Park.
With comfortable accommodation, vehicle support throughout and carefully selected walks each day, this adventure offers a wonderful balance of activity, relaxation and connection with nature.
