To remember and honor the people of Japanese descent who were forcibly removed from our community in 1942 due to Executive Order 9066, Bothell United Methodist Church will be dedicating a Japanese Maple tree to the Kanaya Family on Monday, March 9, 2026 at 3:00 pmThis will serve as a prominent commemoration so that we will never forget and not repeat the unjust actions on our neighbors.
